Lenton, Dudley - The Blue Mandarin

WRAPPER : The evocative period wrapper on this copy ( artwork by Micklewright ) is bright, unfaded and complete. It is unclipped. The front panel is bright, clean and unfaded, showing gentle wear at the spine corners. The spine is clean. It is nicked and rubbed at the ends. The back panel is sound. It is trivially soiled. Looks sharp.

BOOK : The book is square and tight. The boards are bright, very clean and are unfaded. The upper corners and the spine ends are very gently bruised. The pages are unmarked. No foxing. The text block and closed page edges are - as ever - tanned. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is solid and without cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
