Wrapper : The period wrapper on this copy is bright, complete and in very good shape. It is unclipped - showing the price $2.50 on the inside flap. The front panel is bright and unfaded, showing rubbing and a couple of small closed tears to the top edge. The leading edge corners are gently scuffed. The spine is bright and clean - it is gently rubbed and nicked at the ends. The red lettering on the spine has lost a little of its lustre. The back panel is fresh, showing gentle wear to the edges and rubbing to the leading edge.
Book : The book is square and very tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are clean - there is a tiny touch of fading to the edges of the boards. The spine ends are gently bruised. The pages are very clean. No foxing. The closed page edges are bright. No spotting. The binding is tight, the hinges are solid.
