WRAPPER : The wrapper on this copy is bright and complete. It is unclipped. It shows light sunning to the spine and, because it is a little oversized, slight bruising to the upper edges. Looks sharp in protective plastic.

BOOK : The book is square and tight. The boards are bright and clean. There is a small graze to the cloth at the bottom leading edge corner of the front board - the corners are otherwise sharp. The pages and closed page edges are clean. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is solid and without cracked hinges. No previous ownership inscriptions or annotations in the text. INSCRIBED by the author ( in English and Chinese ) to fellow academic Professor Helen Cooper. A solid copy in a protected wrapper.
