BOOK : The book is square and very tight. The boards are clean, the corners are sharp. The spine ends are gently bruised. The pages are clean. The closed page edges are very slightly dulled. The binding is tight, the hinges are solid. There is an interesting gift inscription on the ffep : For Count Kinsky from Joan White. Skomer, June 1962. There is also the ownership stamp of F C Kinsky ( author of a number of books about the birds of new Zealand ). This copy has been SIGNED to the half title page by R M Lockley. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
