A UK first edition thus - a volume in the Fitzroy Edition.

WRAPPER : The wrapper on this copy is bright, very clean, unfaded and complete. It has unclipped with the price 25s. on the inside flap. It shows inconsequential bruising to the top edge of the back panel. The spine is - unusually - unfaded. Looks very sharp.

BOOK : The book is square and very tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are clean and unfaded, the corners sharp. The pages are clean. The closed page edges are soud - the fore-edge is a little dusty. The binding is tight - no cracked hinges or dog-eared pages. A very nice copy in a protected wrapper.
