The covers are sound, showing light toning to the edges and some soiling to the back cover. The spine is very slightly toned. The corners on the covers are sharp. The pages are clean. The closed page edges are sound - the top edge is lightly flecked. The binding is solid - no cracked hinges or loose pages. This copy has been SIGNED by MacDonald Fraser to the title page. Given the fragility of proof copies - particularly of this vintage - this is in nice condition.
