The ORIGINAL, hand-painted dustwrapper artwork by Hans Helweg for Pan's April Evil. The book, by John D MacDonald, was later to be published in 1960. This piece is hand-painted and measures 370 mm x 280 mm. It is mounted on a light white board. The piece is unsigned. The artwork is in good shape- unfaded, bright and clean. There is a little paper residue near the centre of the piece - see scan. A unique item.
