MacDonald, Philip - The Noose

Undated and no edition given. Wrapper priced at 3/6 and blue cloth. First cheap edition stated on wrapper. No mention of Crime Club within the book, though Crime Club stamped at the base of the spine.

WRAPPER : The fragile and scarce wrapper on this copy is bright. It is unclipped. It show slight overall soiling. There are two very small closed tears, one each at either spine corner of the back panel. Presents well in protective brodart.

BOOK : The book is square and tight. The boards are damp stained. The spine ends are bruised. Internally the book is bright and clean. The closed page edges are dusty and are lightly spotted. No dog-eared pages. The binding is solid - no cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A decent copy of an uncommon title.
