A Collins small format 7d novel. Undated, but from the mid 1930's. Uncommon in a wrapper.
WRAPPER : The evocative period wrapper on this copy is bright and complete. It is unclipped. The front panel is fresh and unfaded, showing scuffing at the edges. The red spine shows patches of fading and is lightly chipped at the spine tips. The white back panel is sound. Looks sharp in protective plastic.
BOOK : The book is square and tight. The boards are clean. The corners are sharp. The spine ends are bruised. The pages are clean. The closed page edges show occasional spotting. No dog-eared pages. The binding is solid - no cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A well preserved copy in a protected wrapper.
