An uncorrected UK proof ( Advanced Reader's Copy ) in its very uncommon wrap-around jacket. This is a bright, clean copy without previous ownership inscriptions. The covers ( totally different design to the published first edition ) are fresh and unfaded. There are no creases to the spine, which is solid, unfaded and intact. The pages and closed page edges are clean. The binding is solid - no cracked hinges or loose pages. Comes with a stiff card wrap-around jacket - the artwork on which is the same as that on the jacket of the first edition. This proof jacket is clean and unfaded, showing light wear and rubbing at the dges and spine ends. Given the fragility of proof copies, this is in very nice condition. The stiff card wrapper is very uncommon.
