A UK reprint ( twelfth printing ) - undated, but probably from the early to mid 1940's.

WRAPPER : The evocative wrapper on this copy is bright and complete. It is unclipped. The front panel is sound, showing light overall soiling and gentle wear at the edges and corners. The spine is unfaded and clean. It shows rubbing and scuffing at the ends. The back panel is sound, showing light soiling as well as bruising and light wear to the upper and lower edges. Looks solid in protective plastic.

BOOK : The book is square and very tight. The boards are bright and very clean. The corners are sharp. The spine ends are gently bruised. The pages are clean. No foxing. The closed page edges are unmarked - they are slightly dulled. No dog-eared pages. The binding is solid - no cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
