A 1944 reprint of a title that first appeared in 1910.

WRAPPER : The evocative period wrapper on this copy is bright and complete. It is unclipped. The front panel is bright, fresh and unfaded. it shows a touch of bruising at the top edge. The spine is bright and unfaded. it is superficially bruised at the ends. The white back panel is sound, showing gentle overall soiling and a hint of gentle bruising at the top edge. Well preserved. Looks sharp in protective plastic.

BOOK : The book is square and tight. The boards are clean. The corners are sharp. The spine ends are gently bruised. The pages are clean. The closed page edges are sound - the top edge is a tad dusty. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is solid and without cracked hinges. There is a small, neat previous ownership inscription at the bottom of the ffep. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
