Wrapper : The evocative period wrapper on this copy ( artwork by Buchel ) is bright, unfaded, well preserved and complete. It is unclipped. It shows a hint of light bruising to the top edge of the front panel and shows a trace of gentle soiling to the back panel. Looks very sharp.
Book : The book is square and very tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are sound, showing gentle fading at the top edges. The corners are sharp. The spine ends show trivial bruising. The pages are clean. The closed page edges are slightly toned with age. No dog-eared pages. The binding is tight - no cracked hinges. A very nice copy in a protected wrapper.
