Book : The book is square and very tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are clean and unfaded, the corners sharp. The pages are clean.The closed page edges are sound - the top edge is insignificantly dulled. The binding is tight with no dog-eared pages or cracked hinges. This copy has been FLAT SIGNED by Peter Matthiessen to the title page. A very nice copy in a protected wrapper. Please note that this is a heavy book and overseas postage may be a little more than standard.
