WRAPPER : The wrapper on this copy is bright and complete. It has been clipped. The front panel is bright and unfaded, showing rubbing, and slight chipping at the top edge. The spine is bright. The spine is gently scuffed and nicked to the ends - the red band on the spine has faded. The back panel is very bright, it shows a very small chip at the top edge.

BOOK : The book is square and very tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are clean, the corners are sharp. The gilt on the spine is bright and bold. The spine ends are gently bruised. The pages are clean. The closed page edges are sound - the leading edge is very slightly dulled. The binding is tight, the hinges are solid. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
