A special limited first edition of this Man Booker prize nominated novel of which 100 SIGNED copies were issued. The present volume is number 17. The book is bound in dark green Tohsho Japanese silk with a matching slipcase lined in suede. On the cover there are stills from the short film by Johan Grimonperez, which was inspired by the novel. In a pocket on the inside of the back cover there are facsimiles of the author's handwritten and annotated typescript pages and reproductions of alternative cover designs. A fine copy in a fine slipcase.
