An early UK reprint - 11th thousandth stated. Undated, but from the early1940's.

WRAPPER : The evocative wrapper on this copy is very bright and very clean. It shows light scuffing at the head of the spine. Looks very sharp.

BOOK : The book is square and very tight. The boards are clean and unfaded. The corners are sharp. The spine ends are bruised. The pages are clean. No foxing. The closed page edges are unmarked. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is solid and without cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A handsome copy in a protected wrapper.
