The Life-story of Annetze de Steur - early aviation / air hostess based fiction. The book is dedicated to "the young girls of all nations who are making a new career of flying". Original orange cloth boards, lettered in black to the spine. Undated, but the author's inscription is dated 1939. A SIGNED and dedicated UK first edition, first impression. Scarce.

WRAPPER : No wrapper.

BOOK : The book is sound and tight. The front and back boards are solid though both are mottled - this must have happened a fair few years ago as the there is no mustiness to the boards. The corners are sharp. The spine is bright, the spine lettering is bold. The pages are clean, if lightly dulled with age. No foxing. The closed page edges are toned with age. The binding is tight - no cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. This copy has been SIGNED, dated ( 1939 ) and dedicated by the author to the title page. An uncommon item.
