BOOK : The book is sound and tight. The front and back boards are solid though both are mottled - this must have happened a fair few years ago as the there is no mustiness to the boards. The corners are sharp. The spine is bright, the spine lettering is bold. The pages are clean, if lightly dulled with age. No foxing. The closed page edges are toned with age. The binding is tight - no cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. This copy has been SIGNED, dated ( 1939 ) and dedicated by the author to the title page. An uncommon item.
