A UK First edition. The book is bound in the publisher's scarlet cloth with gilt pictorial spine and front board. The boards are clean, the gilt is bright. The corners show trivial rubbing. The spine ends are bruised. There are one or two scuffs to the boards. The binding is tight. The pages are clean. No ownership inscriptions. The closed page edges are sound - the gilt top edge has lost a little of its lustre. A nice copy.
