Newton Chance, John - The Last Seven Hours
A UK first edition, first impression.
WRAPPER : The wrapper on this copy is bright and complete. It is unclipped. The front panel is bright and unfaded, showing gentle rubbing to the corners. The spine is bright and unfaded. The white back panel shows light overall soiling and a hint of wear at the top edge. Looks sharp in protective plastic.
BOOK : The book is square and very tight. The boards are clean. The corners are very slightly bruised. The pages are sound - there is a trace of foxing to the opening few pages and the endpapers are stained at the edges. The closed page edges are lightly toned and show feint flecking. No dog-eared pages. The binding is solid - no cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
