A UK first edition, first impression and the first hardcover edition of this title. Uncommon.

WRAPPER : The wrapper on this copy is bright and complete. It is unclipped. It shows light bruising to the upper edges and gentle scuffing at the head of the spine. Looks sharp. The wrapper is protected.

BOOK : The book is square and tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are unfaded and clean, the corners sharp. There is light rubbing to the spine ends. The text block and the closed page edges are - as ever - browned and tanned. The title page hinge is slightly cracked, the binding however is tight and solid.
