A bright and well preserved copy with evocative period artwork on the front cover. The book is tight, clean and bright. The front and back covers are unfaded and clean, showing just a tiny touch of rubbing to the edges. The spine is sound. It shows a tiny touch of wear at the head. The back cover carries an advertisement for a 'hair raising, startling and amazing' Sophie Lyons - Queen of the Burglars - story. The pages are intact and without markings. The text block and closed page edges are - inevitably - toned with age. The binding is intact. There are no previous ownership inscriptions.
