An early UK 2/6 reprint. Undated, but probably from the mid 1930's.

WRAPPER : The evocative period wrapper on this copy ( artwork by Abbey ) is bright and complete. It is unclipped, showing the price 2/6 on the inside flap. The front panel is bright and unfaded, showing a touch of bruising to the spine crease. The spine is clean. It shows gentle wear to the ends. The white back panel is sound. Looks sharp in protective plastic.

BOOK : The book is square and very tight. The boards are clean and unfaded. The corners are sharp. The spine ends are gently bruised. The pages are clean. No foxing. The closed page edges are slightly dusty and are toned with age. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is solid and without cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
