We previously bought and/or sold this book in the following, or similar, condition:
A UK first edition, first impression. A scarce title.
Wrapper: The wrapper on this copy is complete, bright and unclipped. The front panel is unfaded and fresh, showing gentle bruising to the top edge and the leading edge corners. The spine is - unusually - unfaded. The base of the spine is scuffed and the top of the spine is lightly creased and has a single, short closed tear. The white back panel is sound, showing a feint trace of toning to the leading edge.Book: The book is tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are unfaded. All the corners are bruised, as are the spine ends. At the top of the spine there is a tiny split - undoubtedly caused by an over anxious finger. The text block is clean. The closed page edges are slightly dusty. The bottom edge is soiled. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is tight, the hinges are solid.
