WRAPPER : The wrapper is complete and bright. It has been clipped. It shows light chipping to the head of the spine resulting in minor loss. The rear panel has two trivial closed tears to the top edge. Looks sharp in protective wrapper.

BOOK : The book is bright and sharp. The boards and spine remain very bright. The spine ends are lightly bruised. The pages and closed page edges are clean and unspotted. There is an ownership inscription dated 1940 to ffep. A lovely first edition.
