The first appearance in print of A Slight Ache. Published in 1960 in Tomorrow 4 ( edited by Ian Hamilton ). The play was later published in book form by Methuen in 1962. Uncommon. This is a complete, solid copy without previous ownership inscriptions. The covers are toned at the edges and there is a small stain to the front cover. The spine is toned. The pages are clean. The closed page edges are gently toned. The staples are clean. The binding is solid - no cracked hinges or loose pages. A decent copy.
