A UK first edition, first impression.

Wrapper: The wrapper on this copy is bright, unfaded, clean and complete. It is unclipped. The spine is lightly dulled and there is a touch of gentle bruising to the spine ends. The back panel is lightly soiled. Looks sharp.

Book : The book is square and very tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions - there is a bookshop sticker ( from Paris ) on the ffep. The boards are clean, the corners sharp. The pages are clean and bright. There is light ghosting to the front and back endpapers. The closed page edges are a little dusty, the top edge is slightly flecked. No foxing. The binding is tight - no cracked hinges. No remainder marks. A very nice copy in a protected wrapper.
