A UK first edition, first impression. Original green cloth, gilt titling to the front board and the spine. Lacking the wrapper. The book is solid and sound. The boards are discoloured and gently faded at the edges on the back board. The spine is gently sunned. The lettering on the spine is bright. The text block is clean - there is ghosting to the endpapers. The closed page edges are a little toned with age. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is tight, the hinges are solid. There is a small, neat ownership inscription on the ffep. An elusive title.
