Rushdie, Salman - Midnight's ChildrenRegular price
We previously bought and/or sold this book in the following, or similar, condition:
Winner of the 1981 Booker Prize, the 1993 Booker of Bookers and the Best of Bookers for the 40th anniversary of the prize in 2008. A UK first edition, first impression - the first printing, printed from the American sheets and quarter bound in grey boards and maroon cloth. One of 2500 copies.
Wrapper: The wrapper on this copy is bright, clean and is complete. It is unclipped. It is gently worn at the edges and the blue upper sections on both panels have lost some of their lustre. As ever, the blue spine is slightly faded. It shows bruising to the spine ends.
Book: The book is square and tight. There is a gift inscription on the ffep. The boards show light soiling at the edges. The spine ends are bruised. The pages are clean. The closed page edges are a little dusty - the top edge is a little soiled. The binding is tight - no cracked hinges. No remainder marks. A slightly tired copy of an increasingly uncommon book.
