A SIGNED and dated UK SECOND impression. Original blue boards , spine lettered in gilt. Lacking the wrapper. SIGNED by Erwin Schrodinger on the first prelim page and dated 20 October, 1934. With the ownership inscription of R F Cyster on the FFEP who was a mathematics student at Corpus Christi College,Oxford in 1934. Having left Berlin, Shrodinger was made a Fellow of Magdalen College, Oxford on November 9 1933. He remained a fellow until 1938. The book is square and very tight. The boards are very clean and are unfaded. The corners are sharp. The gilt on the spine is bright and bold. The spine ends are gently bruised. The opening and closing few pages are foxed. The closed page edges are foxed. The binding is solid and without cracked hinges. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. A decent copy in a protected wrapper.
