Scott, Leader - Tuscan Studies and Sketches

A UK first edition. Original pale blue decorated boards, lettered in gilt. Top edge gilt. The book is square and tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions - there is a contemporary ownership bookplate ( Major Harold F.S. Amery ) affixed to the front pastedown. The boards are solid with faint toning to the leading edges. There is a ding on the leading edge of the front board. The gilt on the front board is sharp. The spine is toned. The spine ends are bruised. The corners are sharp. The pages are clean. The closed page edges are a little dusty. The binding is solid, the hinges are sound. There are no loose pages. A nice copy.
