Two volumes ( softcovers ) housed in a slipcase. Each volume one of 280 copies and numbered 261. What ! Already is SIGNED at the limitation page as called for. Curiously, it is stated on the colophon page that there are an additional 96 special copies - like this one - issued as TWO volumes in a slipcase. Why therefore these volumes are numbered out of 280 ( surely only 96 copies of the companion volume were printed ? ) I do not know. I suspect that these are a made up one off set - especially as they were part of the publisher's archive. I have a copy of the special edition for sale. It has hard covers and is numbered out of 96. A curiosity. Original illustrated wrappers in an illustrated slipcase. Fresh, clean, tight, unfaded copies. No inscriptions, tight bindings. Bright unfaded slipcase. Please note that this is a heavy item and postage will be a little more than standard.
