Wrapper : The evocative period wrapper on this copy ( artwork by Campbell ) is bright, unfaded, clean and complete. It is unclipped. It shows scuffing to the spine ends, inconsequential rubbing to the top and bottom edges of the front panel and a hint of gentle wear to the top edge of the back panel. Looks sharp.

Book : The book is square and very tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are clean and unfaded ( there is a mark on the front board ), the corners sharp. The pages are clean. The closed page edges are sound, if inconsequentially dusty. No foxing. No dog-eared pages. The binding is tight - no cracked hinges. A very nice copy in a protected wrapper.
