Short, Luke - And the Wind Blows Free

A US first edition, first impression. A scarce title.

WRAPPER : The wrapper on this copy is bright, clean and complete. The inside flap has been clipped at the bottom, but the flap still retains the price ( $1.75 ) at the top. The front panel is bright and unfaded, showing gentle rubbing along the spine crease and to each of the corners. The stronger colours on the spine have lost a touch of their lustre. The spine is rubbed and scuffed at the head. The white back panel is sound. It shows overall gentle soiling and very slight bruising at the top edge. Looks sharp in protective plastic.

BOOK : The book is tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are clean and unfaded. The lower corners and the spine ends show a touch of trivial bruising. The text block is clean. No foxing. The closed page edges are sound - the top edge is a touch dusty. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is tight, the hinges are solid. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
