Spillane, Mickey - The Long Wait

A UK first edition, first impression.

Wrapper : The wrapper on this copy is bright and complete. It is unclipped, showing the price 9s 6d on the inside flap. The front panel is bright and unfaded, with some minor edge wear and a small nick to the lower edge resulting in a crease of 4cm. The spine is bright and unfaded. It shows a hint of rubbing and bumping at the ends. The back panel is sound, with some rubbing and nicks to the edges, including a 1.5cm closed tear at lower edge. Looks sharp.

BOOK : The book is bright, square and tight. The boards are clean and unfaded. The corners are sharp. The spine ends are gently bruised. The pages are clean. No foxing. The closed page edges are dusty. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is solid and without cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
