The first cheap edition of a title that came out in 1929.

WRAPPER : The evocative ( and rather racy ) period wrapper on this copy is bright, clean and complete. It is unclipped. The front panel is bright, fresh and unfaded. It is nicked at the lower edge and to the lower edge spine corner. The spine is clean and bright. It is rubbed and gently scuffed at either end. The back panel is clean and bright. It shows trivial wear at the bottom edge. Looks sharp in protective plastic.

BOOK : The book is square and very tight. The boards are very clean and are unfaded. The corners are sharp. The pages are clean. No foxing. The closed page edges are lightly toned and gently flecked. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is solid and without cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
