WRAPPER : The evocative period wrapper on this copy is bright, clean and complete. It is unclipped. The front panel is bright and unfaded. The spine is sound. It is gently soiled and is scuffed at the head and tail. The white back panel is gently soiled and shows gentle wear to the top and bottom edges. Looks striking in protective plastic.

BOOK : The book is square and very tight. The boards are very clean, the corners are sharp. The spine ends are gently bruised. The pages are clean. No foxing. The pages and closed page edges are lightly toned. No dog-eared pages. The binding is solid - no cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions.
