All maps and illustrations present. A UK first edition. Externally sound with rubbed corners. The gilt on the front board is bright. Usual ruffling to gutters. Sightly darkened spine panel. The spine ends are lightly frayed and are bruised. The pages are gently toned and show very occasional spotting throughout. The closed page edges are dulled and lightly spotted. The gilt top edge is lightly soiled. No ownership inscriptions. Three private library stamps - one on the title page. Solidly bound, without loose pages. Rear and front board hinges arecracked. A decent copy of an uncommon title.
