Wrapper : The wrapper on this copy is unfaded and is complete. It is unclipped. The wrapper shows light toning to the edges of the front panel.

Book : The book is square and very tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are clean and are unfaded. The spine ends are gently bruised. The pages are clean and bright. The closed page edges are fresh. There is an area of gentle thinning to the ffep where an ownership inscription has probably been rubbed out. No dog-eared pages. The binding is tight, the hinges are solid. This copy has been FLAT SIGNED by Tom Stoppard to the title page. An attractive copy in a protected wrapper.
