Strudwick, Nigel - The Tombs of Amenhotep, Khnummose and Amenmose at Thebes (two volumes in a slipcase)

Two volumes housed in a slipcase. Volume One is a book, Volume Two is a collection of loose plates and facsimile drawings housed in its own cardboard slipcase.

WRAPPER : The wrapper on this copy is very bright, is unfaded and is complete. It is unclipped. It shows gentle creasing to the lower edge of the back panel. Looks very sharp.

BOOK : The book is square and tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions or markings in the text. The boards are clean and unfaded, the corners sharp. The pages are clean and bright - the last page shows light creasing at the leading edge. The closed page edges are bright. The binding is tight, the hinges are solid. The plates and drawings that constitute Volume Two are in fine, fresh condition - I doubt whether they have ever been opened or looked at. The cardboard slipcase for Volume 2 is a little bruised at the upper edges. A very nice set housed in a fine condition slipcase. Please note that this is a heavy item and postage will be greater than standard.
