The ORIGINAL, hand-painted dustwrapper artwork for the Collins Crime Club title, The Progress of a Crime. The book, by Julian Symons, was later to be published in 1920. This piece is hand-painted and measures 155mm x 200mm. It is mounted on a light white board. The margins of the white board include pencil and pen instructions to the printer, with further instructions and details on a pink slip pasted to the back. In addition included are two loose colour samplers. The artwork is uncredited. Unique.
