We previously bought and/or sold this book in the following, or similar, condition:
A UK first edition, first impression. A scarce title.
WRAPPER: The wrapper on this copy is bright, complete and unclipped - showing the price 7/6 on the inside flap. The front panel is bright and unfaded, showing minor wear at the top edge. The spine is clean, the yellow background of the spine has lost a little of its lustre. It is slightly scuffed and bruised at the top and the bottom. The back panel is sound. It shows trivial wear at the top edge and a border of gentle fading running adjacent to the spine. Looks sharp in protective plastic.
BOOK: The book is tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are very bright and are unfaded. The corners are sharp. There is a touch of trivial bruising to the spine ends. The text block is clean. The closed page edges are sound, if slightly dulled with age. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is tight, the hinges are solid. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
