WRAPPER : The wrapper on this copy is bright and complete. It is unclipped, showing the price 10s 6d on the inside flap. The front panel is bright and unfaded, showing a touch of rubbing and scuffing to the top and bottom edges. The spine is clean though gently faded. It shows a touch of rubbing and chipping to the ends. The back panel is sound, showing light wear at the top edge. Looks sharp in protective plastic.

BOOK : The book is square and very tight. The boards are clean. The corners are sharp. The spine ends are gently bruised. The pages are clean - the endpapers show feint ghosting. The closed page edges are slightly toned. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is solid - no cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
