unknown - Widdicombe Fair
A portfolio of 13 pochoir coloured images illustrating the song "Widdicombe Fair", a popular Devonshire song of the day. Each illustration is mounted on to loose sheets, as issued. Within a paper folder and then housed in a green portfolio with oil-cloth folds and cotton ties. The music for Widdicombe Fair is mounted on the front inside cover of the paper folder, the words are printed on the back inside cover. One image is tipped onto the front cover of the portfolio and smaller version of the final image, a "ghost horse", is pasted onto the back of the portfolio. One of 500 copies - this is copy number 107. The portfolio is bright and complete - it is gently rubbed at the spine ends and corners. Both mounted pictures are complete and unfaded, both show light rubbing. The paper folder is split at the spine crease. It is browning. All the mounted illustrations are clean, undamaged and unfaded. All the papers they are mounted on are browned. Due to the size of the folio, postage will be a little more than standard.
