A first edition, first impression.

WRAPPER : The wrapper on this copy is bright, clean, unfaded and complete. There is a small chip out of the front panel near the upper right corner - see photo. The wrapper is unclipped. Looks sharp in protective plastic.

BOOK : The book is square and tight. The boards are clean and bright. The spine ends are a little bumped. The corners are sound. The pages are clean. The closed page edges are lightly flecked. No dog-eared pages. The binding is solid. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A decent copy of this 'almost Gothic whodunit'.
