Wrapper : The evocative period wrapper on this copy is bright, unfaded and complete. It is unclipped. It shows gentle soiling to both the back and front panels,. The front panel is bright, showing gentle wear ( rubbing, small chips ) at the top edge. The back panel shows similar wear but to both the top and bottom edges. The spine is unfaded. it is gently soiled and is rubbed at the head and the tail. Looks sharp.

Book : The book is square and very tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are very clean and are unfaded. The corners are sharp. The spine ends are bruised. The pages are very clean. The closed page edges are unmarked - they are slightly dusty and slightly dulled. No dog-eared pages. The binding is tight - no cracked hinges. A very nice copy in a protected wrapper.
