Verne, Jules - Michael Strogoff (Film Edition)

Film Edition. Undated but probably from the late1920's - the film, starring Ivan Mozzhukhin, came out in 1926.

WRAPPER : The evocative wrapper on this copy is bright, clean, complete and unclipped. It shows minimal bruising to the spine ends. Well preserved. Looks sharp in protective plastic.

BOOK : The book is tight. The boards are unfaded and the corners are sharp. The spine - as ever - is dulled. There is a touch of trivial bruising to the spine ends. The pages are clean, though ( as usual with Readers Library titles) the text block and closed page edges are browned. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is fragile, but tight. A nice copy of a fragile book.
