Wallace, Edgar - The Book of All Power

A UK reprint in a bright wrapper. Priced at 2/6. Undated, but probably from the late 1930's / early to mid 1940's.

WRAPPER : The evocative period wrapper on this copy ( artwork by Abbey ) is very bright. It is very clean and very well preserved. It is unclipped. It shows a trace of bruising to the spine ends. Given that the book is not in as sparklingly good condition as the wrapper, I would say that this is a marriage. Looks sharp in protective plastic.

BOOK : The book is square and very tight. The boards are generally clean, the spine is faded. The corners are sharp. There is a touch of bruising to the spine ends. The pages are sound - the opening few pages are a little spotted. The closed page edges are a little dulled. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is solid and without cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A decent copy in a protected wrapper.
