WRAPPER : The evocative wrapper on this copy ( artwork by William Randell ) is bright, fresh and complete. It is unclipped. The front panel is bright and unfaded, showing light wear at the top edge and the leading edge corners. The red spine is ( unusually ) relatively unfaded and shows some gentle bruising to the ends. The back panel is sound, showing minimal wear to the top and bottom edges and light rubbing to the leading edge. Looks sharp in protective plastic.

BOOK : The book is square and very tight. The boards are clean. The corners are sharp. The spine ends are bruised. The pages are clean. No foxing. The closed page edges are unmarked. They are slightly dusty. No dog-eared pages. The binding is solid - no cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A very nice copy in a protected wrapper.
