WRAPPER: The period wrapper on this copy is bright and complete. It is unclipped - showing the price $2.00 on the inside flap. The front panel is clean and unfaded, showing rubbing, chipping and scuffing to all the edges. The leading edge corners are very slightly chipped. The spine is sound. The spine ends are lightly chipped and scuffed. The head of the spine has been internally reinforced. The back panel is sound. It is lightly soiled. The edges of the panel are bruised and worn, showing four small closed tears which have been internally repaired.
BOOK: The book is square and very tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are bright. The upper corners and the spine ends are gently bruised. The pages are clean. No foxing. The closed page edges are sound - they are slightly dusty. No spotting. The binding is tight, the hinges are solid. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
